When our family came to Freedom Christian Schools in 2002, we were thrilled to find a Christ centered school that pursues excellence and values each child as one of Christ’s “little ones.” I was excited to help the school raise funds by participating in the Parent’s Club in our early years with the school, and when the need arose in 2009 for a Director of Development, it was a natural fit for me.
My name is Charles Gilfillan and I understand all too well the high costs that come with choosing a Christ centered education for our children. It is a significant investment that families weigh out very carefully. In truth, it would be very impractical for the families who make up the Freedom Christian community to be able to fund the cost of such an education in its entirety. |

Many families desire this kind of quality education for their children but need assistance to be able to take advantage of it. Through various fundraising events throughout the year as well as the faithful and generous contributions of like-minded people who are committed to seeing educational institutions such as ours continue in this community we are able to provide assistance to those families who may need a little extra help.
In a time when the truth is considered a matter of opinion and values change with individual circumstances, it is more important than ever to educate our children from a Godly perspective - teaching them to hold fast to the values lived out by Christ - proving to them that all truth is God’s truth - and challenging them to engage the world around them without a separation between their faith and their everyday life. That’s what we do at Freedom Christian Schools.
You can help Freedom continue in its mission for years to come by getting involved or with a gift. Please feel free to call me and I can arrange a tour of our facility and we can discuss the ways you would like to become a part of the Freedom community. I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Charles Gilfillan
